EC orders suspension of IAS officer

New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) The Election Commission has ordered suspension of an IAS officer for dereliction of duty as an election observer for Punjab elections.

K K Khandelwal of Jharkhand cadre was sent to the state as an election observer, but he neglected his duty and went on a pilgrimage, Election Commission sources said, yesterday.
