Cong leader killed in 'self-firing'

Ambedkarnagar, UP, Feb 10 (UNI) A Congress leader died here in a freak incident, after the bullet he allegedly fired over a dispute with his father hit him instead.

Police said Congress state unit secretary Shailendra Kumar Singh clashed with his father Ram Surat over some dispute.

When the issue snowballed, the Congress leader started firing and was hit by the bullet. He died on way to hospital.

No arrest has yet been made.
