Cong demands explanation from CM

Bhopal, Feb 10 (UNI) Expressing surprise over Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan securing 18th rank in a survey conducted by a magazine, Opposition Leader Jamuna Devi has sought explanation from Mr Chouhan for the position.

In a statement issued here today, Ms Devi claimed that Mr Chouhan has secured 18th rank in a survey of Chief Ministers of 19 states conducted by India Today along with other agencies.

She pointed out that Madhya Pradesh was declared fastest moving state in a survey six months back by the same magazine and the government had propagated it as its achievement.

The Congress leader said Mr Chouhan has a moral responsibility to provide explanation for his position in this view.
