Canara Bank to refund charges collected for using other ATMs

Bangalore, Feb 10 (UNI) Public sector Canara Bank will refund the charges collected from its customers for using its ATM-cum-debit cards at other bank's ATMs, at the start of the next quarter.

In a release here today, the bank said that initially, the facility would be available at ten select centres to those who maintain a minimum balance of Rs 10,000.

Canara Bank cards were now accepted in over 13,900 ATMs of 29 other banks, including SBI and its subsidiaries.

The bank proposed to offer a host of value-added services to its ATM-cum-debit card holders like e-ticket booking, Visa money transfer and utility bill payment, the release said.
