Bhanu meets Sibu, claims no relation with Forward Bloc

Dumka, Feb 10 (UNI) Jharkhand Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Shahi today met jailed Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president Sibu Soren in the Central jail.

The former Union Minister had played a vital role in formation of Koda government and was the chairman of the monitoring committee constituted to overlook the functioning of the state government.

Earlier, many politicians, including Chief Minister Madhu Koda, met Soren.

Talking to reporters here, the newly appointed Mr Shahi said he did not have any relation with the Forward Bloc adding the claim of being a party MLA was ''baseless''.

Mr Shahi said that party was not recognised in the state.

The FB withdrew its support from the government after the party MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi was inducted into the Madhu Koda-led UPA goverment on February 8, hours within Health Minister Lal Hemendra Dehati and father of Bhanu Pratap, resigned from the Koda government.
