Arthi Venkataraman and Asha Nandakumar enter second round

Bangalore, Feb 10 (UNI) Wild Card entrants Arthi Venkataraman and Asha Nandakumar of India made it to second round even as their country mates Poojashree Venkatesh and Megha Vakaria were ousted in the Qualifying rounds of USD 175,000 Sony Ericsson WTA Tier III played at KSLTA Signature Kingfisher Tennis Center here today.

Ankitha Bambri and Sandhya Nagaraj of host country also entered the second round winning their respective matches.

Yurika Sema of Japan, Shengnan Sun of China and Xinyun Han of China entered the second round through bye.
