VSP Chairman inaugurates RMHP civil work expansion

Visakhapatnam, Feb 9 (UNI) Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) Chairman and Managing Director Y Siva Sagar Rao today inaugurated the civil works for expansion of Raw Material Handling Plant (RMHP) area.

Talking after inaugurating the work here, Mr Rao said the expansion of RMHP was to meet the requirement of 6.3 MTPA steel production in the steel plant in the new coal stock yard area. The works were scheduled to be completed by August 31, 2008, He said the structural steel work at a cost of 4.55 crore in RMHP area was also started by Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited, he added.
