UTI Mutual Fund to be listed in stock exchanges

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 09 (UNI) UTI Mutual Fund (UTI MF) is likely to be listed in the stock exchange, Chairman and Managing Director, UTI Asset Management Company Private Limited (UTI-AMC) U K Sinha said today.

Addressing a press conference here, he said while the company has no plans to change the share holding pattern, but within 12 to 18 months, the corporate unit would enter the Stock Exchange listing.

The UTI Board, in principle, had decided to work out the modalities and certain percentage of the capital would be offered to the general public and pending clearances from SEBI, the actual working would be chalked out shortly, he added.
