Top commander among four HM militants arrested in Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested a top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) along with three other militants at Pampore on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
According to a police spokesman, a police team during a routine search of vehicles arrested a HM commander Hamid Bagwan, a resident of Doda, and three others.
He said some arms and ammunition were also recovered from the vehicle.
Security forces averted a major tragedy when they detected a live grenade near a school at Boniyar in Uri today. Bomb disposal squad was immediately summoned who later defused it without causing any damage.
