Three abducted minors rescued by crowd; IT clerk, teacher caught
New Delhi, Feb 9 (UNI) Three minor girls were rescued today as the car in which two men had abducted them, collided with an autorickshaw in Nand Nagri area of North-East Delhi and a crowd, hearing their cries for help, gathered and set them free.
The girls, who were rag-pickers and aged between 7-11, had been forcefully dragged into the car by the two accused -- Nihal Singh (48), a clerk in the Income Tax department and Kaushal (50), a teacher -- close to a liqour vend in Seemapuri, according to sources.
The rescue which was carried out by the crowd took place near Gagan Cinema at Nand Nagri.
They accused were later handed over to the police.
