Robbers nabbed within an hour of crime in Mumbai
Mumbai, Feb 9 (UNI) The city police have solved a robbery case within an hour of the crime and arrested three persons for stealing a mobile phone worth Rs 10,000 from a man at Dharavi in South Central Mumbai today.
Three persons looted victim Ganesh Gopinath Bhagat's mobile phone at about 0015 hrs by threatening him at knife-point, while he was on his way home from job, police sources said.
Bhagat immediately complained to the police and the patrolling team chased the trio and nabbed Mohammed Javed Abdul Kalam Ansari (20), Ali Mohammed Sheikh (20) and Mashiulla Ali Salmani (25) at 0120 hrs.
A case of robbery has been registered and further investigations are on, sources added.
