Pune, Feb 9 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal and Rajasthan, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab and south Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of south interior Karanataka, and were below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram,Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and Telanagana. They were above normal in some parts of Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Gangetic West Bengal and at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Jharkhand.
