Punjab government declares holiday on Feb 13

Chandigarh, Feb 9 (UNI) The Punjab Government has declared February 13th as a public holiday in all state government offices along with its boards and corporations offices on account of the assembly elections.

Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the state government informed that according to a notification issued in this regard, all educational institutions throughout the state would also remain closed on February 13th.

He further said it would also be a holiday within the meaning of section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.
