One militant arrested, arm and ammunition recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 9 (UNI) Security forces arrested a militant and recovered arms and ammunition in north Kashmir, a police spokesman said.

Security forces and police conducted a joint operation at Shaligund, Lalpora, last night during which one militant Maqbool Ahmad was arrested, he said.

One ak rifle, one magazine and 30 rounds of ammunition were recovered from Ahmad's possession, he said, adding that he was a local trained militant, wanted in a number of cases.
