Malaysian National News Agency opens first bureau in India
New Delhi, Feb 9 (UNI) Malaysian Minister for Information Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin today inaugurated their National News Agency Bernama's first news bureau in the country here underscoring the interest of the people worldwide in India's success in the economic field.
''Bernama hopes the Delhi bureau would enable it to feel the pulse of India. The agency's reporting will focus on the country's economic development, especially in IT, where the Indian human capital has taken the world by storm,'' he said.
Union Minister for Science and Technology Kapil Sibal was chief gueston the occasion.
Malaysia has 27 major TV channels and Newspapers including vernacular papers and Bernama distributes the news to all media organisation in its country.
It

world
The
agency
was
established
in
the
late
1960s.
It
is
headquartered
in
Kualalumpur
and
it
has
also
established
the
Non-Aligned
Movement
