Former Rajya Sabha member Sujan Singh dead

Chandigarh, Feb 9 (UNI) Former Rajya Sabha member and former-High Commissioner of the Maldives Sujan Singh died following prolonged illness yesterday, family sources said today.

Mr Singh, 85, breathed his last at Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Delhi early yesterday. He had been under treatment there for the past several days.

His last rites were performed at his native place Sonepat. A large number of people, including former Haryana assembly speaker Satbir Singh Kadiyan, were present at the cremation.
