Exclusive Apple store opens at Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Feb 9 (UNI) Gujarat's first Apple authorised store 'Imagine' was inaugurated at Himalaya Mall here today for exclusively retailing Apple products.

The store, which is owned by Unicorn Infosolutions Ltd, would showcase award winning products, including the iMac, the MacBook and the iPod, said Unicorn MD Baljinder Singh.

''The store will showcase the entire range of Apple iPods and various accessories that complement the gadget,'' Mr Ketan Shah, Director (Operations) of Unicorn Infosolutions Ltd said.

''This is the ninth Imagine store in the country and the first exclusive store in Gujarat. More such stores could be opened in the future. UIL is in the business for the last 10 years and is headquartered in Delhi. It also has branch in Mumbai,'' Mr Singh said.

''The idea behind opening the Apple store here is basically to showcase the products of Apple technologies rather than thinking of sales expectation,'' Mr Rakesh DiDi, the sales manager said.
