Dacoity in Upasna Express

Lakhisarai,Feb 9 (UNI) Dacoits robbed passengers of 2328 DN Dehradoon-Howrah Upasna express near Vanshipur station under Keul-Jhajha section of East Central Railway.

Police Superintendent(Rail) Arvind Kumar said robbers boarded the train at Keul junction and started snatching the cash and valuables from the passengers as the train reached near Vanshipur station.

Some passengers were injured in the attack by the dacoits when they tried to resist them, he added.

Raids were being carried out to nab the dacoits and recover the looted articles, he added.
