6 IPS officers transferred in MP

Bhopal, Feb 9 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government today transferred Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order) Surendra Singh -- an Indian Police Service officer -- as the Addl DGP (Intelligence), official sources said.

Mr S K Raut, who was hitherto occupying the post, was shifted as Addl DGP (Crime Investigation Department) replacing Mr Vijay Raman who was moved as Addl DGP (Rail).

Addl DGP (Planning and Provisions) Raman Kakkad was transferred as the Chairman, State Police Housing Corporation, while Addl DGP (Telecommunications) Alind Jain was shifted to the Complaints Department to replace Mr P L Pande who will take up Mr Kakkad's previous post.
