17 of family get life terms

Guna, MP, Feb 9 (UNI) A fast-track court in this district sentenced 17 members of a family to life imprisonment today for murder.

According to prosecution, a dispute ensued on October 31, 2005 between two groups over a transformer at Sirsi Kala village. Govind Raghuvanshi was slain and six people injured.

Additional Sessions Judge Naveen Saxena handed down the punishment to Dileep Singh alias Dalup, Ramsingh, Onkar Singh, Anant Singh, Pancham Singh, Bhuresingh and 11 others. The total fine amount was Rs 73,100.
