Zakir Hussain remembered

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to former President Zakir Hussain by Congress leaders on his birth anniversary here today.

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president A Chakrapani, General Secretary D V Satyanarayana Rao and State Congress Minority Department Chairman Mohammad Sirajuddin, were among those, who garlanded the portrait of the late leader at Gandhi Bhavan, the party state headquarters.

The leaders recalled the services of Dr Hussain in various capacities, a party release said.
