Two-day congregation of Sunni Dawat-e-Islami

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (UNI) The two-day congregation of Sunni Dawat-e-Islami would be held here from February 10.

Convenor of the congregation Janab Al-Haj Mohd Asif Naqashbandi today said, in a statement, that the main intention of the congregation was to educate men and women to eradicate social evils in society in the light of Islamic teachings and to educate women to follow the path of Um-Mahat-ul-Momineen and adopt the character of Hazrat Syeda Fatima.

He said Sunni Dawat-e-Islami was a purely religious apolitical organisation dedicated to the cause of reviving the true love for the prophet among the people.

The aims and objectives of the organisation were to bring people closer to the Quran and the prophet and reformation of faith and deeds, eliminating illiteracy and ignorance through education, he added.
