Traders in Srinagar join protest against fake encounters
Srinagar, Feb 8 (UNI) Traders in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir today took to streets to protest against the killing of innocent persons by security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of state police in the alleged fake encounter.
The traders, raising slogans against SOG for killings of four persons in fake encounters, later started their march from Maisuma, where Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) is on a three-day hunger strike from February 6.
After marching through different streets in the civil lines, including historic Lal Chowk, the nerve centre of the city, the traders dispersed peacefully at Budshah chowk.
