Senior counter insurgent leader killed, wife,PSO injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 8 (UNI) A senior leader of counter insurgent group ''Ikhwan'' was killed and his wife and Personnel Security Officer (PSO) wounded in the Kashmir valley today.

Official sources said militants today opened fire at Ikhwani leader Mohammad Yousuf Dar at Hajan when he came out from his house in north Kashmir today.

They said Dar died on the spot while his wife and PSO were wounded in the firing. The militants later managed to escape, they said.
