RBI holds Central Board meeting

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India held a meeting of Central Board of Directors here today.

The meeting, chaired by RBI Governor Y V Reddy, reviewed key economic, monetary and financial developments, its Regional Director (Andhra Pradesh) R Gandhi said in a release here.

The meeting, attended by Board members Y H Malegam, Prof Suresh Tendulkar, Lakshmi Chand, H P Ranina, Dr Ashok S Ganguly, Shashi Rekha Rajagopalan, Suresh Neotia, Dr A Vaidyanathan, Dr D Jayavarthanvelu and Mr Sanjay Labroo, gave overall directions to the RBI on its affairs.

RBI Deputy Governors Rakesh Mohan, V Leeladhar and Usha Thorat were also present.
