Pune, Feb 8 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, and Orissa.

Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan, north Chattisgarh, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Night temperatures were below normal in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow have occurred at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Gangetic West Bengal and at many places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland,Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand and at a few places in Orissa, Haryana and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab.
