One beaten to death in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 8 (UNI) A person was beaten to death by unidentified men in north Kashmir late last night, official sources said today.

They said the body of one Abdul Rashid Baigh was recovered at Wanigam, Kreeri, in Baramulla district of north Kashmir. The body had multiple injuries, they said adding a massive hunt has been launched to nab the killers.

Apart from this, two militants killed by security forces and police in a joint operation in south Kashmir yesterday were identified as Abdul Rehman alias Abu Baker and Bilal Ahmad, both residents of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), a police spokesman said.
