Murderer gets life term in Andaman

Port Blair, Feb 08 (UNI) A murder accused has been awarded life-in-prison by the the Sessions court in Andaman.

The sentence was pronounced by Sessions Judge in Port Blair S K Mondal, the Public Prosecutor said today.

Mondol told UNI that in 2004 the accused stabbed the victim, inflicting multiple injuries on the latter over a personal enmity.

Later, the victim, who was taken to a hospital, succumbed to his injuries.

UNI
