Jitibhai Vaghani is new Gujarat BJPYM chief

Ahmedabad, Feb 8 (UNI) Mr Jitibhai Vaghani today took over as new president of the State Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJPYM).

A function was organised to mark the occasion which was attended among others by State BJP president Purushottambhai Rupala, Agriculture Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma, Rural Development Minister Bharatbhai, former BJPYM chief Sankar Chaudhury, city BJP president Dharmendra Shah, MLA Pradipsinh Jadeja, and Bhavnagar Mayor Nehul Vadodaria.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vaghani said BJPYM will present a memorandum to Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma on the issue of Mohd Afzal Guru's hanging.

Mr Rupala, in his speech, exhorted Mr Vaghani to launch an enrolment drive. ''We already have 20 lakh youth in our organisation,'' he said.
