'Indian' flight to Mumbai returns after suspected fuel leak

New Delhi, Feb 8 (UNI) An early morning flight of 'Indian', formerly 'Indian Airlines', on way to Mumbai from here returned after suspected fuel leakage.

Delhi-Mumbai flight IC 657, carrying more than 150 passengers, was asked to return to Delhi after suspected fuel leak was reported, said an 'Indian' official.

He, however, clarified that there was no 'emergency landing' and a 'safe landing' was made at the Delhi Airport here after the plane was asked to return by authorities at about 0730 hrs as a precautionary measure.

The flight had left Delhi at 0655 hrs to Mumbai and returned mid-way after the 'leak' was reported here.
