Ilyas new NAARM Director

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (UNI) Dr S M Ilyas today assumed charge as Director of National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) here.

Dr Ilyas has held many important managerial positions in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, prior to this appointment, an official release here said.

He was the Vice-chancellor of Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad(UP) and Director of the Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology in Ludhiana.

He was a Fellow of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers and had 150 publications and six patents to his credit.
