Home Secretary reviews internal security situation in country
New Delhi, Feb 8 (UNI) Union Home Secretary V K Duggal today reviewed the general internal security situation in India with a focus on the situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir, North-East and the challenges faced by the country.
The hour-long meeting also discussed issues concerning Naxalism and terrorism in the hinterland and communal situation in the country, sources said.
Those attending the meeting included Directors General of Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Military Intelligence and senior officials of Seema Sashastra Bal, Border Security Force and a representative from the Director General Military Operations, sources added.
