BEST collects Rs 11.60 lakh from without ticket passengers

Mumbai, Feb 8 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking has collected Rs 11,60,130, in a special drive against passengers travelling without a ticket in the buses during November and December 2006.

The authorities had conducted special drive against ticketless passengers in which 27,467 commuters were fined and Rs 11,60,130 collected from them, a release said.
