300 shanties gutted in a major fire in Bengal

Kolkata, Feb 8 (UNI) A major fire broke out today near Jinjira Bazar railway line in Behala, gutted as many as 300 shanties.

Five fire tenders took about an hour to extinguish the blaze.

However, no casualty was reported, Fire Brigade sources said.

The reason of the fire could not be ascertained, so far.
