Two dead, four injured in truck-autorickshaw collision

Kolhapur, Feb 7 (UNI) Two persons were killed and four others seriously injured in a collision between a truck and an autorickshaw near Chaundeshwari Soot Girani on Kolhapur-Jaisingpur road here, police said.

The incident happened yesterday when a loaded truck, on way to Rukadi from Sangli collided with an autorickshaw approaching from the opposite direction, sources said.

The deceased have been identified as auto driver Yaseen Mujawar (22) and Ibrahim Khachhi (65). Both hail from Miraj.

The injured have been admitted to Miraj Mission hospital here, sources added.
