Trial begins of servant who killed

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) A city court today began trial of a domestic help who had allegedly murdered the son and raped the daughter of his employer in North Delhi about five months ago.

Additional Sessions Judge N K Gupta fixed February 23 as the next date of hearing, when arguments on charge would begin.

Accused Sanjay Das had murdered the son and raped and injured the daughter of businessman R K Agarwal on October 18 last year in Roop Nagar.

After raping the girl, Das had slashed her neck and also made away with her ring.

He then feld the capital and was nabbed in Rishikesh two days later.

Police had filed a chargesheet against him for the alleged murder, attempt to murder, rape and robbery on January 12.
