Night temp normal in several parts of the country

Pune, Feb 7 (UNI) Night temperatures were below normal in Tamil Nadu and in some parts of Kerala. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State, Chattisgarh and were above normal in Jharkhand, south Madhya Maharashtra, north coastal Andhra Pradesh and north Telangana. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occure at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Uttaranchal and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occure at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Benagal and Sikkim, Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Jharkhand, Bihar and south Rajasthan.

Rain or snow have occured at most places in Himachal Pradesh.

Very light rain or snow have occured at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Very light rain have occured at isolated places in Gangeic West Bengal and east Uttar Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at many places in Sub- Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and at isolated places in Orissa, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Jharkhand and Bihar.
