Kolkata, Feb 07 (UNI) Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee today urged all the political parties to fight unitedly against the Left Front government for forceful land acquisition in the state.

'' It is not the time for politics and now all of our duty is to stand behind the people to fight unitedly against the government's forceful land acquisition policy for industrialisation,'' Ms Banerjee told a rally after walking one km from Subodh Mallick Square to Esplanade area.

The rally was organised by the Krishi Jami Raksha Committee (KJRC).

She said that her party would not use the dias of KJRC if those parties, who were not in the KJRC but were supporting the agenda, could not come forward because of Trinamool.

''We will not use the KJRC dias if they come but we should not fight against the government separately,'' she maintained.

Social activist and writer Mahasweta Devi, PDS leader Samir Pututundu, Ganamukti Parishad leader Sunanda Sanyal and senior Trinamool leaders Sougata Roy, Sovandeb Chatterjee also spoke in the rally.
