Kidnapped BRO engineer reunited with family

Virdhunagar, Tamil Nadu, Feb 7 (UNI) An Executive Engineer of the Border Roads Organisation who was kidnapped by suspected NDFB militants in Asom's Darrang district was reunited with his family today.

M Ganesan was kidnapped on December 22 at Gitibam under the Paneri Police Station while he was returning on his motorcycle from a survey of bridge constructed over the Nonai River.

The militants who reportedly sought Rs three crore in ransom released him last month when security forces launched a manhunt for him.
