FB plans agitation demanding panchayat polls in J'khand

Ranchi, Feb 07 (UNI) The Forward Bloc (FB), supporting the UPA led Madhu Koda, in Jharkhand would stage demonstration on March 28 in support of their six-point demands and holding of panchayat polls.

Talking to reporters here today party's general secretary Devbrat Vishwas said demonstration would be organised infront of the Chief Minister's office on March 28.

Mr Vishwas said a party delegation had submitted a memorandum of demands including rehabilitation for the displaced and holding of panchayat election to Mr Koda urging him to take initiatves in this direction.

Replying to a query related to FB MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Mr Vishwas said Mr Shahi had been suspended and the party would protest if Mr Shahi was made a minister.
