Women lawyers demand 50 per cent reservation in jobs

New Delhi, Feb 6 (UNI) Women lawyers in Delhi held a demonstration here today to press for their demands, including 50 per cent reservation for women advocates in all law-related jobs.

The lawyers, under the banner of the Pragitsheel Mahila Sangthan, also submitted a memorandum to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Besides the reservation, they are demanding relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit in all law-related jobs and exclusive hostels for women lawyers.
