Vision doucument for development of Gurgaon
Chandigarh, Feb 6 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said a ''vision document'', keeping in view the projected population of Gurgaon by the year 2021, would be prepared for its development in a phased manner.
Mr Hooda, accompanied by Union Shipping and Road Transport Minister T R Balu, earlier dedicated to the people the flyover of Udyogik Vihar-Kendriya Vihar of Gurgaon, constructed on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway Number 8.
He said while preparing the document, suggestions of various departments of the state government and other related institutes would be considered.
A number of foreign investors were taking keen interest in setting up their ventures in Gurgaon, he said adding that various ambitious plans had already been formulated to provide world class infrastructure in the city.
The Chief Minister said Rs 776 crore would be spent on providing basic amenities in the city in next three years. Of this, Rs 172 crore would be spent during the current financial year.
Mr Hooda also reviewed the developmental works being undertaken by various departments in Gurgaon.
