Ten Lankan refugees land in TN coast

Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, Feb 6 (UNI) Ten Sri Lankan refugees, including a woman and four children, arrived at Kottaipattinam, a coastal village, here today.

Hailing from Jaffna in the island nation, the refugees hired a boat for Rs 50,000 and landed here.

Police held preliminary inquiries about the refugees. They would be accommodated in a transit camp in Pudukkottai District.

UNI
