Temperatures rise, giving way to warm days

Jaipur, Feb 6 (UNI) With rising day temperatures in Rajasthan, the weather has turned unusually warm in February, making people uncomfortable in the state.

According to weather office, the non-existant western disturbances have led to the rise in temperatures, which may extend for a further two-three days.

Once the western disturbances becomes active, the temperatures may dip, giving respite from the unusual heat.

Fans have started whirring during afternoons in the state capital and people are almost perspiring from the strong sun.

The state capital recorded 10, Ajmer 17 a rise of 3 degree Celsius from yesterday, Bharatpur mapped 15, Dholpur 13, Jhalawar 14, Kota 16, Rawatbhata 17, Sawai Madhopur 17.

Udaipur was, however, cooler at 9.8 degree Celsius among the plains. Mount Abu, recorded 9 degree Celsius and remained the coldest in the state.

Churu recorded 9.9, Ganganagar 9.6, Barmer 13.6, Jaisalmer 16.6, Jodhpur 13.9 and Bikaner 14.1.

The weather office predicts a dry weather over the next 24 hours.
