TDP leader abducted, escapes from kidnappers
Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 6 (UNI) Telugu Desam party (TDP) leader and former Vice-Chairman of Hindupur municipal corporation, who was kidnapped by unidentified persons during the early hours today, escaped from their clutches.
According to police, TDP district leader Roshan Vali, who is contesting in the municipal elections was abducted from his house in Hindupur. The kidnappers took him in a car and when it stopped on the outskirts of Pamidi town, Mr Roshan escaped from their clutches.
The TDP leader immedately rushed to a police station in Pamidi and informed them about the abduction.
Police swung into action to nab the kidnappers.
