Shimla, Feb 6 (UNI) Mild snow in high altitude areas of Kinnuar, Kullu, Lahaul Spiti and Chamba districts and rain in the lower areas of Himachal Pradesh have revived coldwave conditions in the state, even as minimum temperatures rose appreciably in the mid and lower hills of the state, the met office said today.

Overcast conditions finally gave way to rain and snow in the district at 1430 hrs, plummeting temperatures in the district.
Light showers lashed isolated places in lower areas of Kullu district since morning, reviving hopes of rain and snow in the state during the next 24 hrs.
Overcast conditions were also continuing in mid and lower hills of the state for the second day today and the met office said weak western disturbance was responsible for the continuing dry spell in the state.
