Samata revamps its organisational structure
Patna, Feb 6 (UNI) The Samata party has reconstituted its organisational structure and appointed three national general secretaries and nine state unit presidents.
President of Bihar unit P K Sinha today said the decision for reconstitution had been taken following the return of several JD(U) leaders to the party, which was like their old home.
Senior party leaders Praveen Singh Jadeja, Shiv Kumar and Irfanullah Khan had been appointed national general secretaries, he informed.
New state party presidents had been appointed in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhatishgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Dadar-Nagar Haveli, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Tamilnadu.
A mass meeting was organised by the party in Lucknow on January 18 to kick off the campaign for the coming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, he added.
