Ratan Tata to fly in F-16 at Aero India
Bangalore, Feb 6 (UNI) Tata Group head Ratan Tata will fly in a F-16 fighter aircraft on February 9 at the Aero India 2007 at the Yelahanka Air base of the Indian Air Force, Lockheed Martin today confirmed.
Lockheed Martin Senior Vice President Robert G Truce told newsmen here that Mr Tata was an experienced aviator and had shown interest to fly in an F-16. He would be a co-pilot in a twin seater F-16, the Company had brought to the Aero India for both flying and static display.
Mr Tata had earlier flown in a Mirage aircraft. Mr Tata would be attending the board meeting of HAL to be held during the Airshow as an independent Director.
