NSCN(K) kidnap jawan in Nagaland

Kohima, Feb 6 (UNI) A Havildar of Territorial Army (TA) Battalion Nagaland (Home&Hearth) was ''kidnapped'' by Khaplang faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland cadres from Dimapur bus stand yesterday, defence sources today said.

A Defence statement today said that army took strong exception for violation of cease fire and warned such activity could attract retaliatory action from troops.

The TA Battalion Nagaland (H&H) was raised on the request of the Naga people to promote opportunities for contribution of the Naga youth in nation building, besides employment generation and development of the state, the statement added.
