MK hands over solatium to DMK man's family

Chennai, Feb 6 (UNI) Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi today handed over a solatium of Rs one lakh to the family of a partyman who was killed in an accident while he was engaged in wall writing welcoming the DMK chief during his visit to Nagapattinam on January 31.

A party release here said Mr Karunanidhi handed over the assistance to the victim's family members on behalf of the party.

Ramadoss of Panamedu Village in Nagapattinam District and his son Chellamuthu were killed when a bus hit them.

The Chief Minister had gone to Nagapattinam to handover houses built by Mata Amirtanandamayi Mutt to the tsunami affected people on January 31.
